As the rollout of the Thrive Approach to Halton schools starts Jennie Hogan, the customer success manager at Thrive, would like to welcome you all to the Thrive community and say thank you to those schools who expressed interest in being part of the first wave of trainings starting in June. If you are one of those first wave schools and you will have had an email with course dates and asking you to let Jennie know who you want to train and which course by 7 June. Jennie’s email is jennie.hogan@thriveapproach.com if you have any queries about this. Second wave training dates and more information about booking induction courses will be sent out next week.

Self harm awareness training
In response to the analysis of data collected on reported self-harm incidents in education settings last term the Halton Health Improvement Team are going to deliver two face to face sessions on Self Harm.
- Monday 1st July 09:30-11:30 at Kingsway Primary School Widnes
- Tuesday 9th July 15:30-17:00 Gorsewood Primary School Runcorn

– To gain understanding of what is Self-Harm
– To gain understanding of why young people people Self-Harm/ Risk factors for Self[1]harm
– Tips for Talking to Someone who Self-Harms
– To learn about local/national support services and useful apps
