TALK Halton project  Communication Hub

As part of the TALK Halton project the Communication Hub has been created to provide information and resources for parents, carers and professionals to support children and young people on their communication and language journey.  We would like to invite you to join us at one of our special launch events in September.

Stephen Young, our new Chief Executive for Halton Borough Council, will be kicking off proceedings with an introduction to the Communication Hub.  Claire Smith, from ICAN, who led the TALK Halton Project for over 2 years, will be sharing the rationale behind the Hub and introducing Halton’s  Communication Pathways for both Early Years and Schools.  Tracey Lynch, our TALK Halton practitioner, will conclude the event with a walk through of the Hub, highlighting many of the FREE resources which have been created by the Project.

To enable as many people to attend the launch as possible,  there are two dates to choose from – Friday 23rd September (09.00-11.30) and Thursday 29th September (18.30-21.00).  Both events will take place at the DCBL Stadium in Widnes.

To complete your online RSVP to this invitation please click here.  If you have any difficulty accessing the online RSVP please contact tracey.lynch@halton.ov.uk
