Designated Behaviour Lead
Dear All
Please can you send me the name and email address of your designated behaviour lead, so information and details of upcoming events and training relevant to their role can be forwarded directly to them. I have some already but we just want to ensure our records are up to date.

Staff Flu Vaccination Scheme
Halton Borough Council Staff Flu Vaccination Scheme
Dear Colleagues
We are aware of ongoing difficulties with the redemption of the Lloyds Flu Vaccination Voucher recently issued to staff via managers.
Many staff have experienced difficulties in booking sessions to get their flu jab and we believe that Lloyds have now suspended online booking for future vaccinations (although you may still be able to book by calling your local Lloyds directly).
To help, you can now book and pay for a flu vaccination with any provider and you will be able to use the receipt to claim the cost of the vaccine back via ‘I Want Finance’. To do this, you will need to add a new expense claim, select ‘other expense’ and use account code 2296 and upload a scan or photo of your receipt.
If you do not have access to the online portal, you may claim the cost back through petty cash systems in discussion with your Manager, who can then claim back through the usual petty cash channels.
Please remember, if you have been invited by your GP to get your flu jab as you qualify under the NHS scheme (e.g. you are pregnant, over 65, have a long term health condition, etc.) please get your jab this way rather than using the staff scheme.
As a reminder there is more information about the scheme and the flu jab on the intranet here. If these do not answer your questions, please direct any emails to flu.jab@halton.gov.uk This email account is monitored regularly, but we may not be able to respond immediately. The Public Health team are very busy with Covid related matters at the moment as well as flu and would appreciate your patience.
We would like to apologise for the difficulties the voucher access issues has caused. There has been unprecedented demand for the vaccine this year, which has meant that some suppliers have had some difficulty maintaining stock levels. We hope this approach will provide more options for everyone and will mean that many more of you will be able to benefit from the protection of the flu vaccination this year.
