Ever Thought of Becoming a Governor?
It’s a chance to give something back to your community and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people. Schools particularly welcome people with professional knowledge in areas such as leadership, monitoring budgets and staff development. They’re also keen to hear from people who have a knowledge of their local community. Anyone aged 18 and over can apply to be a school governor and you don’t need to be a parent.
