Ofsted Inspection
Dear Colleagues,
Last Friday, 3 May, we received notification of an Ofsted Inspection of Local Authority Children’s Services (ILACS).
The inspection will take place over the next three weeks, with inspectors on site from Monday 13th May until Friday 24th May. Details of what an ILACS inspection involves can be found here: Inspecting local authority children’s services – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
The lead inspector will be Lisa Summers (HMI Social Care), who will be supported by a team of inspectors, including Sue Eastwood (HMI Education).
While we will strive to continue to sustain a ‘business as usual’ approach within education services as much as possible over the coming weeks, please do bear with us if it takes us a little longer than normal to get back to you.
We will be in touch with a further update next week.
Kind regards,
Zoe, Ben & Charlotte
